Wellbeing workshops for young people

The stress experienced by children and young people is magnified by the lack of coping strategies at this developmental stage. Headucate is dedicated to addressing this issue by actively engaging with young individuals, fostering insights into emotions, and providing tools to cope within a safe and supportive environment.

Adolescence, marked by perceived expectations from peers, teachers, and family, poses unique challenges. During this period, the shift in attachment from family to peers, coupled with the development of identity, can leave young individuals grappling with multiple stressors on their own. Furthermore, the role of dopamine in facilitating risk-taking, a natural part of learning from mistakes, becomes crucial in their development. However, when intertwined with mental ill health, this process can be daunting for both the individual and those around them. At Headucate, we aim to navigate these challenges and provide meaningful support during this critical phase of development.

A big shout out to Freya for giving our Headucate Mascott plenty of love and attention!
